THE WHEATSHOCKER NET PREAMBLE – 2m and 440 Nets

This is W0ERH and The Wheatshocker Net. The Wheatshocker Net is the official net of the Johnson County Radio Amateurs Club of Johnson County, Kansas. Your net control this evening is ____________ (Name) ________________(Call Sign). This net meets each Wednesday and Thursday at 7 p.m. Kansas City local time.

On Wednesdays, we meet on the club's two Fusion repeaters that are connected via Wires-X to the Kansas City Room. Due to the nature of digital systems, please space your calls and let the repeater drop for a moment.

On Thursdays, we meet on the club's analog repeater. See the club's website for repeater information.

Meetings are held the second and fourth Fridays of every month at 7 p.m. The club conducts business and a short program during the first monthly meeting, and dedicates the second meeting to programs and projects. ***To be read starting in October***  During November and December, the club only has one meeting, which is held on the second Friday of the month. 

Our meetings are held at the Overland Park Christian Church located at 7600 W 75 Street, Overland Park, Kansas. Visitors are always welcome at our meetings as well as on our nets. Complete club information is available on our website www.W0ERH.org. (Break for timer reset)
